Just in time for primetime football games, LIVEKINDLY Collective announces today that LikeMeat’s Like Chick’n Wings are available nationwide at over 3,600 Walmart stores. LIVEKINDLY Collective recently cracked the chick’n wing code with the release of Like Chick’n Wings, the Collective’s innovative, delicious, plant-based take on America’s favorite party food, launched under its brand, LikeMeat. With this new Walmart availability, only weeks after the Wings’ introduction at Sprouts and Sam’s Club, the Collective estimates that close to 10 million Like Chick’n Wings will be consumed during football watch parties this year.
“LIVEKINDLY Collective is all about the joy of plant-based living,” says Emily Klooster, VP of Marketing LikeMeat at LIVEKINDLY Collective. “We’re so excited to be partnering with Walmart; we’re in it to wing it! And the timing couldn’t be better for us. During last year’s big game, nearly 1.4 billion wings were consumed. We want to enlist Americans this year to make their game-day snacking plant-based without compromising on flavor—and having our delicious, party-ready Like Chick’n Wings available at a major retailer nationwide is the best way to accomplish our goal. It’s a wing-wing situation.”
Even the staunchest meat-lovers are fans of Like Chick’n Wings’ satisfyingly crispy coating and juicy, bone-free, meaty texture. Gluten-free, certified plant-based and made with non-GMO ingredients, Like Chick’n Wings are now available in a one-pound Family Pack in the freezer aisle at over 3,600 Walmart locations nationwide. Each one includes a pouch of vegan buffalo sauce so you can toss, sauce and dip to your heart’s content, all while keeping it plant-based.
LIVEKINDLY Collective entered the U.S. market last year and has since launched two plant-based food brands: No Meat, with products available at Walmart; and LikeMeat, with products available at Walmart, Shoprite, Target, Sprouts, Sam’s Club, GTFO It’s Vegan and more listings soon to be announced. The Collective also recently launched a Creole Red Bean Sandwich developed exclusively for Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen’s as the chain’s first vegan menu item.
