We can’t keep up with all the latest delicious plant-based foods being launched all over the world. From KFC’s vegan chicken additions in Thailand to a new limited edition Galaxy range, and soup to warm you up with as we enter the fall season, here’s everything you need to know.

KFC unveils ‘meat zero’ vegan chicken to its menus across Thailand
Fast-food giant KFC Thailand is adding vegan chicken to its menus, in a move to expand the brand’s plant-based offerings.
Made with CP Foods’ vegan chicken, the meat alternative is dubbed to have the same taste as KFC’s original items. Moreover, it will feature the same signature seasoning.
But customers will only be able to try it at select stores, out of the more than 700 across the country.
KFC Thailand is reportedly witnessing growing numbers of customer requests for plant-based options. In a statement, the company revealed it was hoping to ‘attract new generations’ of more conscious consumers.
La Taula brings its artisan vegan cheeses to Hong Kong
Elsewhere in Asia, artisan vegan cheese is on the rise. La Taula, a bespoke brand, has announced the launch of a new range.
It features flavors from Smoked Truffle Pepper and Seaweed Truffle to Creamy Coriander Mint Chutney.
Additionally, the brand minimizes packaging by delivering the cheeses in reusable ceramic dishes.

Galaxy launches limited edition vegan collection
Confectionary giant Mars is expanding its vegan offerings under the Galaxy brand. In a limited edition launch, Gingerbread Crumble and a Smooth Orange Sharing Pack are now available to customers in the UK.
Both flavors contain a blend of rich cocoa and smooth hazelnut paste.
You can find the latest products in Superdrug, and later this year at Poundland and ASDA.
Baxters launches three new plant-based soup flavors in major UK supermarkets
Scottish soup brand Baxters has unveiled three new plant-based soup flavors ready for fall.
And, the tinned collection is now available for £1.55 at ASDA and Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.
The range includes Thai Yellow Vegetable Curry, Sundried Tomato & Thyme, and Spiced Red Lentil.
In a statement sent to PBN
, a spokesperson said: “Our plant-based range has been one of our most successful launches to date. And Baxters is delighted to have developed three new vegan soups that we’re proud to add to shelves as part of our plant-based line-up.”
Plant-based meat brand expands range in Sprouts stores
Hungry Planet, the makers of a host of ‘chef-craftered’ plant-based meats, is expanding its offerings at all 362 Sprouts Farmers Market locations in the US.
CEO Todd Boyman told PBN
: “Hungry Planet is delighted to partner with Sprouts to make our game-changing plant-based meats available to food fanatics across the country.
“By delivering superior meats with industry-leading taste, health, and variety, we are providing customers authentically great food, and are developing a very loyal following.
“Our national launch into Sprouts increases points of distribution to serve shoppers hungry for more.”

Chickpea Tofu product range sees increase by Franklin Farms
Franklin Farms is adding to its range of Chickpea Tofu products. Part of Keystone Natural Holdings, the company says its tofu doesn’t require pressing before cooking. Additionally, it has a unique ‘nutty’ flavor’.
CEO Kenny Sung told FoodIngredientsFirst
: “It’s similar in texture to medium-firm tofu and can be prepared by pan-frying, adding to soup, or dipping in savory sauce.”
The new products will be available in a host of stores including Walmart, Publix, and Purple Carrot.
