Meet Margaret Wishingrad
Company:
Our mission is to provide a nutritious and delicious vegan burger alternative.
Startup Stage:
In process of official launch
Location:
Shelton, Connecticut, USA
When did you launch the business?
2020
What led you to where you are today?
I wanted a change when my son was getting married and what I allowed myself to receive was a full transformation. In three years I have become completely plant-based, workout daily, and have learned never to settle in life or business. I want to inspire others to change their mindset and know that a healthy lifestyle is just one choice away.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I knew it would take much more patience than I thought! This project has become much bigger than what we anticipated which is wonderful!
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Charging for the product and what to charge! At first, I just wanted to feed anyone a vegan burger who wanted to try one. Now, we have multiple people who are loyal Beastie fans before even opening and have to convert them all to paid customers.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
I want to feed the world one Beastie Burger at a time and convert as many people to a healthier lifestyle as possible!
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
Get the word out about Beastie Burger! We are currently very localized and as we are gearing up to launch, we would love to get the word out nationally and globally.
Fun fact about you:
I own over 150 pairs of workout booty shorts!!
Anything else you would like to share?
I just want everyone to feel as healthy as possible and never settle. Choose nothing but happiness.
