When did you launch the business?

April 1, 2017

What led you to where you are today?

Half grit and half naivete. Without much experience, we have taken on more than we could chew, but with our determination, roadblocks became opportunities to learn and scale.

What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey? 

I wish I had an industry mentor to guide me through the milestones and plan for an exit strategy, so I didn't have to make as many mistakes or navigate in the dark.

What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far? 

The hardest thing I've had to do in my business so far is to let go of employees that are damaging to the team morale and the productivity of the company.

What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?

I am more than happy to share my knowledge and experiences of opening and operating a plant-based ice cream shop.

How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you? 

I would love to be connected with other vegan restaurants or dessert shop owners. so we can help each other.

Fun fact about you: 

I am a CPA, and I have my own accounting practice where I provide accounting services to nearby restaurants.
