The EVERY Company is a San Francisco-based food technology company with a mission to lead the world’s transition to animal-free proteins, starting with the egg. Using precision fermentation, we create real eggs that match or exceed chicken-made eggs on taste, texture and culinary functionality.
We are currently a growth-stage company.

When did you launch the business?
What led you to where you are today?
Realizing I was put on this earth to do whatever I could to curb climate change and end factory farming in my lifetime. I couldn’t sit on the sidelines any longer. I had to do something.
What do you wish you knew before embarking on your entrepreneurial journey?
I wish I had known that it’s all about the people. As Peter Drucker put it, “culture eats strategy for breakfast.” Business objectives, product-market fit, fundraising, and all other aspects of startup life are important, but at the end of the day, incredible companies are powered 100% by incredible people.
What is the most difficult decision you've had to make regarding your business so far?
Realizing a team member is not a fit and having to let them go. I care about people and find this aspect of the job difficult, but sometimes necessary.
What can you help the VEGPRENEUR community with?
Offering opportunities to join our amazing team of passionate people and lending my learnings going through this journey of six years in scaling The EVERY Company.
How can the VEGPRENEUR community help you?
I’m one of six kids and grew up on both sides of the US-Mexico border.
